Weekly Gratitude

This week, I was grateful for…
- A random state holiday which gave me a day off from work and the chance to be inspired by marathon runners;
- Glee’s Power of Madonna, one of the best hours of television I may have ever seen and completely addictive music to match;
- Beautiful spring weather;
- A chance to spend some quality time with my aunt/godmother away from the normal craziness of our larger family; and
- The opportunity to help my cousin celebrate the start of new life at her baby shower.

Random holidays that result in a day off are always welcomed.

And MA sure has a lot of them. I think the holdiays are created just so the state gov't people can have the day off. The rest of us just benefit.
