Weekly Gratitude

Since it’s so nice out where I am, let’s forget the pleasantries and get right to it:

This week, I was grateful for…

• A successfully completed one-year review at work, which boosted my confidence and reminded me, once again, why I love my job;
• A surprise early-release from work on Wednesday, when the weather hit record-breaking highs in Boston, so I could sit on my balcony and soak up the sun;
• And the chance to use my free afternoon to use up a B&N gift card and buy new books;
• A victorious opening day for the Red Sox, with a win over the (evil) Yankees, on Easter no less; and
• An equally gorgeous Sunday, relaxing on my balcony again.
