Sending Out an S.O.S.

Is there something you’re just dying to know about me? Are you ever curious as to why I write some of the things I write? Here’s your chance to get some answers.

Every now and then, I hit a wall, where life gets busy and my creativity reserves feel tapped. This almost always manifests itself in the form of writer’s block. For a few weeks now, I’ve struggled to find topics to write about and, when I do, I’m never quite satisfied with what I have written, even after I’ve clicked the “Publish” button.

In some ways, it’s quite funny and maybe even ironic. I’m usually so opinionated and it’s rare that I find myself at a loss for words. I don’t necessarily mean this is a bragging kind of way; rather, I started this blog because I thought I had a lot of things I wanted to say, so it surprises me sometimes that I can’t always take the words and thoughts out of my head and put them into a post.

So I’m asking for your help in a small way.

What do you want to see here on Ordinary Mer? Do you have questions for me or specific topics you’d like to see me write about?

Ask anything and everything. I’ll reserve the right to use my judgment to decide if I want to answer a specific question, but anything is fair game.

Consider it a once-in-a-blue-moon opportunity. It’s your chance to have a say in what goes on here at Ordinary Mer while giving me a boost in my efforts to cure myself of the terrible affliction of writer’s block.

You can leave a comment on this post or email ordinarymer [at] hotmail [dot] com. I promise, all proper credit will be given – I may even hold a parade in your honor. (Said parade might occur in a dream-like trance, with no physical evidence to show for, but it will still happen.)

I want to know more about your personal life. I know a lot about your beliefs (and that's great….keep that coming), but what's going on with you?
