Weekly Gratitude
Posted on | February 21, 2010 | No Comments
Happy weekend and can you believe there’s only one more week left in February? Time certainly does fly.
This week, I was grateful for…
- The Olympics – the excitement, the drama, the living vicariously through the athletes, the incredible abilities and thanks to Johnny Weir, the glitter;
- The opportunity to do something other than wallow on Valentine’s Day, by indulging in a little fan-dom with the Harry Potter exhibit at the Museum of Science (Boston);
- George Washington and Abraham Lincoln for being so great and fantastic that the Federal Government created a holiday – and a day off – to honor them (honorable mention to my adopted home state of Massachusetts, for also honoring the MA-based former Presidents: John Adams, John Quincy Adams, Calvin Coolidge and John F. Kennedy);
- The powers-that-be who decided to create a second 24-hour food/cooking channel from the folks who gave us The Food Network; and
- A fun night out with friends and always being able to pick up right where we left off.
What are you grateful for?
