Weekly Gratitude, Christmas Edition

I have quite a bit to be grateful for this week, most especially for Christmas, my absolute favorite time of year.

I’m also grateful for…

• The opportunity to spend quality time during the holidays with my extended family and to once again have an upstate New York Christmas;
• The chance to meet up with my very good friend P, who I don’t get to see very often. I’m glad we managed to find the time in between busy family events;
• The safe travels of everyone in my family (myself included) as we braved the 6-7 hour car rides to make sure we were some place special for the holiday;
• The chance to offer my support to my cousin at a time when she needs it the most;
• General holiday good cheer from everyone around me during the past week; and
• The generosity of the people who gave me gifts this year. I never quite deserve it all, but I’m glad “Santa” is forgiving.
